The research programs in language and literature organized by the Solidarity Society reveal the need for life-oriented education to create self-consciousness and social consciousness among the new generation. These programs question the motto of gaining education to acquire degrees and certificates to grab high-salaried jobs. These programs emphasize the need of creating such a generation through education, which could enrich society with unique and innovative ideas and works.
The research programs of the education field organized by Sodepur Solidarity Society are based on the concept of ’Life Oriented Interdisciplinary Research’ presented by Dr. Rakhi Roy Halder at the 35th Indian Social Science Congress. The concept was executed by the ’Student Research Team’ under the banner of ’Bhasha Manch’. The student Research Team’ was formed through the selection of students from various universities by organizing interactive sessions. The videos of the research programs are presented here.
The program organized to strengthen the socio-cultural bond with Nepal through expressing our well-wishes through paintings was actually an effort to highlight the healing power of artworks which can send good vibes for healing silently.
